(Almost) back to the board

Things have been quiet on Daybreak Carve for the past few months. My off-season plans to increase speed and strength changed last May, and I spent the subsequent nine months focused on good nutrition and a healthy level of physical activity. Even though I continued exercising throughout the pregnancy, the workouts became less intense over time as my exhaustion (and belly size) increased. 

The months of preparation paid off in December when my husband and I welcomed miss Emmie to the world!



Maybe one day she'll race instead of nap on this board.
